The young lady who took my reservation was super friendly , polite and efficient. They kept me posted on my phone about the tech ( it was his partner on the picture, oops) They called while enroute and were on time. Cameron was the plumber and looked at the job and then gave me a quote. He was really nice, and did a very good job. Only 2 things: 1. Cameron's associate waited in the truck when he could have been clearing my second sink. I thought that was odd. 2. They seem to be required to upsell me with a drain cleaning product that was $87 when I asked him about a preventative cleaner. I get this from my dentist as well and it is a bit annoying . Not only overpriced , but , it didn't even have the ingredients listed on the bottle ( what is it really). All in all though, I would definitely use them again.

Luis Lopez was prompt to the scheduled appointment. I appreciated the calls before his arrival to our home. He was courteous and professional. After assessing the attic vent fan, he proposed a few options and quoted the pricing for each. I also appreciated his suggestions on other electrical issues that he noticed in the home. When I first scheduled my appointment (on a Thursday) I was told that my soonest appointment would be for Monday. They did reach out to me on Friday morning to let me know a tech would be able to come out that day and look at my garbage disposal. Elijah came out and was very professional. He was able to install my new disposal (which I purchased at Home Depot) in a timely manner. My disposal is working properly. The price for the installation was almost three times the cost of the disposal itself, but was a little cheaper than Home Depot’s installation. I reached out to TE because they have some work for me before and I haven’t had any issues/complaints about their work. I’m giving a 5 star for service, but 4 star for overall experience due to cost.

Came out today to perform three system HVAC home care. Upon arrival, inspected the upstairs system. Found that the blower wheel was dirty, the indoor coil had biological growth and rust spots, the heat exchanger has rust spots, the condenser for that unit is low on R 22 refrigerant, there was no UV protection, the return Plenum was starting to separate from the furnace , there was no filter rack for that furnace, causing the filter to press up against the blower wheel. Upon further inspection of the basement system found that it had no UV protection and everything else was running properly. Upon inspecting the main floor system found that the system had no UV protection, replaced the April air 413 filter and everything was running properly for both the indoor and outdoor system. Also adjusted gas pressures on all systems to factory recommended 3.5. Customer is setting up a date to get quote to update the upstairs system.

Homeowner had water stains, showing up on the ceiling and wall in the laundry room on the third story. went into the attic and found the leak is around the single wall vent used as the dryer vent that penetrates the roof. saw small signs of water stains on the vent itself where it penetrates the roof. advised homeowner to trace the water stains and monitor whether they grow when it’s raining or when the dryer is in use to determine the next step to solve the problem. Homeowner also had an issue with the dishwasher, not draining fully and the garbage disposal not operating found garbage disposal was jammed in the dishwasher drains into the disposal, causing the back up. Gave options to replace the unit as well as attempt to unjam. educated the homeowner about the typical lifespan of disposals. Customer called about a slow draining toilet in the women’s bathroom. The middle stall is the area of concern. The flapper in the toilet is deteriorating and it sounds if the fill valve has something stuck in it. We gave the customer quotes to clear the toilet, repair, or replace it. The customer has to go through the proper channels for approval of the work. Customer states that they will call back once approved.
Replaced Aprilaire damper motor assembly for upstairs zone. Tested fully and no failures at this time.
Tested system not cooling for the upstairs level of the home. Found this to be due to a failed damper motor. This likely failed due to the strain from the system, not having a bypass duct installed. Flood protections are subpar and no protections from growth inside the unit, the condenser coil outside is also very dirty.
Replaced expansion tank to strap to wall with bracket as well as remove T fitting and straight stop to install proper drip 90 fitting on T&P line from above water heater to meet code and city requirements. Also replaced cs garbage disposal in kitchen.
Arrived found unit off on auxiliary pan float switch due to clogged drain pan, causing water to overflow. Customer approved condensate drain line clean. Vacuumed water out of auxiliary pan. Flushed and treated drain line. No in-line safety or wet switch. Blower wheel dirty. Cycled system on. Checked condenser. Checked capacitor, contactor, and pressures. System now cooling and draining. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
