Top tier service from DeAndre and amazing overall experience. Thanks!
It was pleasant working with Dee. He got everything done and working in a couple of hours. He was respectful of our property.
I call TE service to come out and repair a leak for me, the leak was due to a shower val leakage which I knew, I had already purchased the new shower head system with a new val, in which they put in, did a good job, De Andre, ask where my out door faucet was , they check the pressure and stated bit was too high, I would need a new pressure val installed , I said I hold off on that, DeAndre stated he couldn't guarantee the work order for the shower val and installation if I didn't get the pressure val, a extra 499.00 for that! It was my choice, I had took off work and needed the leak to stop, I felt trap or defensive with the statement, so I allowed him to do it I, don't see any difference with the pressure or if I even needed one , it was almost 1500.00 dollars job, too much, I will never make that mistake again. Just glad it's over!

Toilet in the master bath not filling. Removed and replaced the shut off valve for the toilet, along with the water supply line and fill valve. Toilet is now functioning properly. Water heater located in the garage is completely corroded and leaking. Shut off the water to the home and drained the system. Removed the water heater. Repaired the gas line to the water heater and also installed a new shut off valve for it. Installed a new water heater and made all necessary code upgrades. Filled the water heater and tested. Water heater is now functioning properly. *hall bath toilet is rocking and the flange needs to be replaced in order to properly secure the toilet to the floor. *the water pressure to the home is exceeding the limits and causing fixing to make a loud noise when turned on. I recommend replacing the pressure regulator valve.
Tested system not cooling for the upstairs level. Found the compressor outside, rotor locked and will not pump the refrigerant. Also tested the windings with a megohmeter and found the windings are bad. This outdoor condenser unit is 12 years old and both the indoor coil and furnace are 2024. Advised customer that it may be time to think about replacing this unit instead of putting that money into a repair on an old system.
Ice maker supply line is leaking behind the fridge, during my evaluation I noticed the newly installed water heaters supply valve is leaking from the packing nut and onto the heater. The valve in question is an older gate valve that should have been replaced at the time of installation. I spoke with the customer, showed her my concern and agreed to replace it.
Went to a 2 system service call. Both indoor furnaces are from 1997. The outside AC for the upstairs is from 1997. The outside AC for the main floor is from 2008. Neither of the systems are working properly. Both of the inside units are dirty and failing. Both indoor capacitors are bad. Both of the blower wheels are dirty, and both blower motors are pulling high amps. The outside unit for the upstairs condenser coils are clogged. The capacitor and contactor is bad. The outside unit for the main floor is out of refrigerant. Both systems are R22. The condenser fan motor for the upstairs system is pulling high amps and the condenser fan is getting stuck in rotation. Upon explanation of all observations and testing of units both the upstairs and main floor system customer was not satisfied. Customer declined all recommendations of repairs/update system. Neither system is currently working in a/c mode. Both systems do currently turn on in heat mode but not operating properly.
Homeowner had us out today because his system is not cooling properly. Upon arrival, homeowner informed us that the system has not worked properly in over a year and he’s noticed that his power bill has tripled. We set both thermostats to cooling and noticed that he was stuck in emergency heating even without a call for heating. We reset zone board and went out to check refrigerant pressure on the outdoor unit. We noticed that the system is low on refrigerant. We pumped down the condenser and perform a quick leak search in which there was no leak. Homeowner informed us that the system has never worked since they have lived here in since 2018. Homeowner approval to have 3 pounds of refrigerant added to system and replace zone board.
Concerned about a rag going in toilet bowl. No active blockage In toilet or mainline. Told customer to call back if any fixtures back up or hears gurgling.
Troubleshoot of outlets not working and estimates for future fixes
Tenant has paid in full Technician completed a full inspection at indoor and outdoor system. Technician observation: no safety flood switch at pvc drain line, upstairs damper, motor is failing, partially opening and closing, filters are dirty x2 16x25x1, no bypass at furnace ductwork, lots of rust and corrosion at evaporator coil outdoor voltage capacitor, and contactor is failing/bad. Outdoor condenser coil is dirty. These issues can lead to system failure if not addressed. Please see via email for estimates, pictures and invoice copy. I explained to Landlord about our system repair vs system replacement options. Thanks for choosing TE Certified if you liked your technician service today don’t hesitate to leave a 5 star review!
