The reason for call out today was customer called and stating that there was debris on the outdoor coil. Dispatch told them that for us to come out and clean outdoor coil would be $59 per unit. Upon arrival found lots of dog hair on both outdoor condenser fan coils. Wash coils and removed all hair and debris from coils. Inspected inside and found both filters were dirty and needed to be replaced. Upon speaking with the homeowner customer agreed to have both filters changed and outdoor units cleaned.
System not cooling. Found leak in evaporator coil. Coil is going to need to be replaced.
Not a recall. Found active leak on blue pex pipe in crawlspace. This is on a different section, not on the section repaired previously. This leak has be caused by a rodent chewing on the pipe. Homeowner has been informed that this is the case and that rodent fecal matter has been discovered in the crawlspace as well. Repaired leak. Recommended homeowner call an exterminator. If we return for a pex leak and find chew marks, then we cannot repair it under warranty as we cannot control the rodents.
Electrical diagnostics on masterbed room outlet circuit
Homeowner had us out today because they say the system is short cycling and is not cooling properly. Upon arrival we noticed there is a Goodman furnace that is from 2010. We noticed that the blower motor and the capacitor are super worn out the blower motor is over at 9.3 and the capacitor is a 20 MFD reading 3.3. We also noticed that there is no flood protection on the system which we recommend. Homeowner approved to have repairs made. After repairs were made we verified proper operation on the system
Performed underground splice at patio walkway tried to bury the wires deep as possible when finished. Turn the circuit on everything has been tested and is functioning properly. No warranty or guarantee is provided by TE Certified for the repair(s) listed above. Due to the nature of the problem, the above service(s) or repair(s) is not an adequate solution. Future work will likely be necessary and is the sole responsibility of the Homeowner. FOR: underground splice done under walkway REASON: the wire does not have GFI protection and is buried 1 inch under the grass. The wire needs to be buried at least 12 inches if it has GFCI protection or 18 to 24 inches if it does not have GFCI protection..
Replace 3 outlets , upgrade living room breaker
came out because the customer was concerned about her air flow. I checked the ductwork and everything was fine except for the return duct she had closed or blocked off. I checked the filter and it was completely compacted no 90 percent blocked. The condensate pump line was disconnected and the unit was draining on to the floor of the crawl. I replaced the filter and installed a new condensate pump and the system is now working according to specifications. The customer is now a Home Care member and will have her system maintenance through us routinely.
