The reason for our appointment today is that the upstairs HVAC system is not cooling. Upon arrival customer also stated she would like to see if we could take a look at her downstairs unit because it’s not cooling properly either. Upon inspection of the downstairs system found that there was too much filtration and system and filters were completely clogged up. Upon removing the filters that were inside 14 x 14 filter grills performed inspection over downstairs system. Upon inspection of downstairs system found that the refrigerant is a close charge, but cannot guarantee due to cleanliness of outdoor unit. Upon inspection of the inside system found that the system has a 20 x 20 x 4 filter, the blower wheel was clean, the blower capacitor was bad and needs to be replaced. The system is a 4 ton gas furnace that is within 10% range of duct return. This system has no UV protection. Installed 5 new 6in can lights in kitchen, replaced 30a dryer breaker that constantly trips
Installed a new outlet behind cabinet outside master for lamp, troubleshot kitchen and dining circuits, no issue with receptacles, old generation breakers were replaced, all but the 4 gen 4 afci breakers
Upon arrival, the customer showed us to the water heaters located in the basement. Customer states that he has had lukewarm water since Monday. performed thorough evaluation and found that the left side water heater was not heating due to a tripped breaker. upon further inspection, found that the water heater was leaking from internal components, causing the breaker to trip. With customers approval, we drained down and removed both units and replace them with two new 50 gallon electric water heaters. Repiped the area with copper and proper strapping. Due to low static water pressure of 40 psi we also replaced the 3/4” PRV located in the Gym. After completing all repairs, we pressurize the home, energize the units and Allowed the units to cycle to full temperature to confirm proper function. Tested the new static water pressure holding at 60PSI, no further issues detected.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. I was not able to clean the blower wheel today. The hose is frozen.
Replaced outdoor flood lights and installed new outdoor boxes.
Upon arrival, we completed the trim out and passed final plumbing inspection. -sealed all hub drains. -installed mop sink basin. -insulated the remaining pipes in the basement per inspector requirement. -insured all sinks are installed and operational. We tested all fixtures and drain lines in preparation for a final inspection
Upon arrival we trimmed out the fixtures, -3 three-comp sinks. -mob sinks. -all floor drains. -4 handwashing sinks and all necessary connections. Returning on Monday for plumbing inspection and to complete the remaining sink.
