Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Performed one system inspection for upstairs unit. Found failed board, failed capacitor, overheated transformer, dirty blower, bad outdoor cap, dirty condenser coil, rusted electrical connections and no safety. Due to cost or repair and age of unit customer requested estimate for new system. Also signed up for 2 system homecare. Would like to upgrade thermostat as well

Customer has 3 y/o 2-zone Carrier heat pump system that operates for whole house. System was not operating due to damaged disconnect, possibly caused by loose wiring. Replaced disconnect. Tested heating and cooling. Tested auxiliary heat. Customer replaced 20x20x1 filter. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. System is currently working.
