Reworked section of copper main line to accomodate new filtration system and replaced main water shutoff and pressure regulator (PRV) also installed new 10 year warranty 50 gallon gas water heater in a code approved drip pan. Reworked water, exhaust vent, and gas piping to accomodate new water heater. Purged the filter system in accordance with manufacturer instructions and set incoming pressure to 65 psi. Water heater temp was set to 120°F. All connections were tested for leaks and system is operating correctly.
Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: breaker for outdoor outlets and pond instantly trips (dead short) LOCATION: outdoor outlets, pond, panel FINDINGS:I checked all connections at each outdoor outlet and covered with tape to prevent future shorts. Upon checking inside panel, I noticed the wire for the circuit tripping was pinched by the cover. This caused the hot to make contact with the panel, resulting in a dead short. RESOLUTION: I removed from pinched spot, and cut above damaged insulation of wire. I spliced onto the wire to remove damaged spot and breaker is holding
GA power wouldn’t hook up to home with existing electrical setup. Quote is to replace pvc mast with rigid pipe, new feeders in mast and feed to panel. Properly ground home to copper pipes. (Some sections are pex). Install smart breakers on branch circuits and surge protection.
System wasn’t blowing cold air last night. Turned thermostat on cool and inspected system. System was low on Freon and dual capacitor weak (reading 28 on a 30 microfarad). Replaced dual capacitor and added one lb of Freon (to bring pressure back to normal). System is cooling properly at this time. No other issue. System is over 10 years and out of warranty. It’s getting time to think about upgrade systems, to bring back under warranty and efficiency back to the business.
During my visit, a necklace was retrieved from the master bathroom sink drain. I was able to remove the tubular p- trap to grab the necklace. The p-trap was installed and tested for leak.
Condenser fan motor is ceased, dual capacitor is very low on the CFM side, R22 refrigerant smells very acidic, heat exchanger is cracked, blower wheel and condenser coil are both dirty.
Arrived found evaporator coil frozen. Unit off and not cooling off on wet switch from water condensating from air handler cabinet caused by frozen evaporator coil. Blower motor is operating. Contactor is not stuck. Filter was a little dirty. Changed the filter. Will have to return to diagnose system. $98 diagnostic fee will apply at return diagnostic.
Tankless, halo, five, shower valve change, garbage disposal, change
Replace stack switch for furnace and installed Keyless light fixture
Completed 2 system home care. Checked filters. Checked blower wheels, flame sensors, igniters, inducer motors, condenser coils, dual capacitors, contactors, fan motors, compressors. Flushed both drain lines and mighty pumped. Checked refrigerant levels. Cleaned condenser coil on upstairs unit and changed bad capacitor with turbo capacitor. Removed leaves from condenser.
For this job, I replaced a dining chandelier, bath light, and replaced a ceiling fan
Remove and Replace the garage sub panel, install the new EV Charger and install the smart load management system.
Replaced panel that had a burned bus bar with new QO 42 space panel, all dual function single pole breakers, 2p gfci where required, and whole home surge protector
Upon arrival, performed electronic leak search for customer. After completion of leak search found leak was in the indoor coil in the capillary tubes. Presenting options with customer. Customer agreed to replace coil and clean outdoor condenser coils. Changed indoor coil. Performed pressure test and found no current leaks. Also clean both outdoor condenser coils. Upon start up performed full system diagnostic to ensure system is working properly. At this time system is working properly with no further concerns.
