Completed a troubleshoot for a nice family in Winder.
Replaced furnace control board and zone board for one system home. Replaced contactor and washed condenser coil. Changed filter. Tested zones and all is working well.
No cool call. Found bad furnace control board. Bypassed and then found the system short cycling through the zone board. Bypassed the zone board and system worked fine. However, I cannot leave the furnace control board bypassed. Furnace control board is at Daikin Lawrenceville. Zone board needs to be Honeywell conventional heat 2 zone. Local supply houses have them.
Electrical Inspection for light fixture that was damaged by water.
Customer has 9 y/o Ameristar heat pump system that operates for whole house. System was not wired correctly to operate in cooling. Corrected thermostat wiring. System is currently working. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are fair. Water protection has failed and was not wired into system. Drain line has no p-trap installed for negative pressure system. Recommend UV BlueTube to target and prevent biological growth. Customer should consider HomeCare program for system maintenance.
SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system for second floor is not working properly. After complete troubleshooting I found the Air handler Bryant 3 years old 2 1/2 ton capacity the Ecm blower module Control failed and the system start ice up when is running i verified manufacture warranty and the parts are cover under warranty but not Labor.
