Very Professional, Very Detailed, Very Thorough, and surprisingly Transparent!

We signed up for the Annual Maintenance right after purchasing our home. I wasn't so sure it was worth it, but I found the electricians very professional and the work they did was quality. I wasn't so sure about the initial HVAC visit in fall of 2023, but we just had our spring 2024 visit from Jeremiah and I will say he made it worth it. I watched over his shoulder, mostly just out of curiosity and a love to learn. He was patient answering questions, and I was very surprised, especially considering the other con-artists,,, ur... i mean contractors I've dealt with. Jeremiah was very knowledgeable, and performed the maintenance with a thoroughness and attention to detail I can rarely ever find. As an engineer, I likely view things more critically and detailed that others, but that didn't phase Jeremiah in the least. He provided several photos of not only the work he recommended, but the results afterward, as well as other areas that did not need additional attention. Luckily, he found some things that could have caused problems, and we were able to correct those now so that we are not having worse problems at a time when it is difficult to get a technician scheduled. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah, and he is a sterling representative of TE Certified. I plan to ask for him next time by name. TE Certified should be okay with that as he sold me on some tasks that I could have done myself, but elected to have him do them because of his professionalism and demeanor. Great job Jeremiah!

Called out to assess a leak in the garage ceiling. Upon arrival I informed the customer that in order to give a secure answer as to what is leaking I would need to cut open the ceiling in the garage and run tests with the shower above. Customer agreed and work was started. Cut open drywall ceiling in the garage and found that the stain was directly below the shower drain in the master bathroom. Ran water in said shower and instantly found that the shower drain was leaking from the lower gasket. Gave customer options to repair the shower drain. Customer agreed and work was started. Cut out the old shower that I found to be improperly installed previously. The drain was only hand tight causing the leak. Replaced the shower drain and the PTrap serving the shower. Once done I tested all work for leaks by running the shower for a period f time. No leaks present. Cleaned work area. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with your plumbing needs.

I wired in and installed the customers pre assembled ceiling fan on a UL approved box in the bedroom to the left of the front door. I checked the switch and hooked the terminals bypassing the quick wiring method. After installation I tested the ceiling fan and the light kit to ensure it was working.

Leak at garage ceiling below below master shower. Another plumbing company had already cut access in the ceiling but they were unable to diagnose the issue. We performed a shower pan test by plugging master shower drain and filling the shower pan to a height of two inches. We filled the shower using water from the bathroom sink faucets. This did not reproduce the leak. We then poured water onto the built in tile seat in the shower directly above where the leak has been occurring. This recreated the leak. This is not a plumbing failure, but a failure of the tiling and liner located on the built in shower seat.

Homeowner had leak underneath the kitchen sink. Found the basket strainer retaining nut was cracked and leaking. During walkthrough of the home it was noted that the water pressure regulator was not functioning properly and the thermal expansion tank had a blown air bladder. While working under the kitchen sink the garbage disposal had signs of rusting. The replacement was given at a discounted rate. Pressurized system and verified system was functioning properly. Walked through with the homeowner to check for any issues.

Re locate wiring and the disconnect for the mini split to the other side of the basement window. After installing we made sure to keep the breaker off and at the disconnect we made sure to phase the neutral wire and left the pull out in the off position.
