We signed up for the Annual Maintenance right after purchasing our home. I wasn't so sure it was worth it, but I found the electricians very professional and the work they did was quality. I wasn't so sure about the initial HVAC visit in fall of 2023, but we just had our spring 2024 visit from Jeremiah and I will say he made it worth it. I watched over his shoulder, mostly just out of curiosity and a love to learn. He was patient answering questions, and I was very surprised, especially considering the other con-artists,,, ur... i mean contractors I've dealt with. Jeremiah was very knowledgeable, and performed the maintenance with a thoroughness and attention to detail I can rarely ever find. As an engineer, I likely view things more critically and detailed that others, but that didn't phase Jeremiah in the least. He provided several photos of not only the work he recommended, but the results afterward, as well as other areas that did not need additional attention. Luckily, he found some things that could have caused problems, and we were able to correct those now so that we are not having worse problems at a time when it is difficult to get a technician scheduled. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah, and he is a sterling representative of TE Certified. I plan to ask for him next time by name. TE Certified should be okay with that as he sold me on some tasks that I could have done myself, but elected to have him do them because of his professionalism and demeanor. Great job Jeremiah!

Just wrapped up installing APCO-X UV air purification system in existing Carrier HVAC. System needed minimal duct modification. UV light positioned for maximum exposure to coil surface. Connected to 24V power supply with safety cutoff. This'll kill 99% of mold/bacteria on coils & improve IAQ significantly. Homeowner reported allergies & musty smell - this should help tremendously! Replaced air filter while there (was pretty dirty). Set reminder for UV bulb replacement in 2 yrs. Quick, clean job.

Only system , 3 zones, not cooling. System is low on Freon and found a leak in the evaporator coil (possible other leaks). System is 10 years old (heat pump)and it’s out of warranty. Gave price to replace evaporator coil, but, at this age and conditions, best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring comfort, warranty and efficiency back to the house. Also, compressor is making very loud noise and possible compromise.
Replaced approximately 20 foot of interior main water service line, in order to raise waterline above joists. Technician also replaced emergency water shut off valve and pressure reducing valve. Water was restored to the home and air bled from the system. New water pressure to the home was checked and set to 65 psi. All work completed was checked for leaks and proper functionality. Work area thoroughly cleaned up. Technician noticed water heater to be 28 years old!! Technician notified customer that it is highly recommended to replace this unit, and also bring new unit up to current code requirements. Water heater replacement options are being provided and sent in a separate email! THANK YOU for trusting T.E. Certified!!
Replaced and cleaned filters. Cleaned drains, flame sensors and inducer ports. Checked all operations. Basement system could fail at anytime, because of weak dual capacitor. Valve core started to stick and leak. I was able to unstick valve core and install brass caps. Indoor air quality can help get rid of plastic odor in basement and purify air. Helps keep systems clean. Home owner was running late for a meeting and I was not able to go through IAQ and duct work cleaning. Pictures and estimates in email.
