Came out for toilet wobbling and pressure high gave estimate customer agreed pulled toilet found flange too high cut out old flange installed new flange bolts wax ring supply line. Took out old pressure regulator valve installed new pressure regulator valve. Tested no failure at this time.
Trouble for power loss in bathrooms and garage Replaced bad GFCI in garage, added GFCI devices to kitchen and replaced an unlisted breaker in panel and moved a neutral to the neutral bar.
One time inspection. Check system for proper operation found that the capacitor is reading very low, also found that the disconnect at the air handler in the attic is stuck and cannot be pulled out. Found that the blower wheel and evaporator coil are both extremely dirty and need to be cleaned. There is no flood protection on the drain line or the evaporator coil. Drain line is clogged you can see from the top of the P-trap drain line needs to be fully cleaned. Outdoor coil is also dirty and needs to be cleaned. No other work was done here. This was just a one time inspection.
Came out installed new 50 gallon electric water heater tested no failure at this time.
Remove small section of concrete slab in bathroom at toilet to repair PVC drain that has a root intrusions. TE Certified will pour back concrete but we are not responsible for repairing flooring itself.
Call out for a back up. The upstairs was backed up, pulled the toilet ran my cable throughout the line. Blockage was unknown, but tested thoroughly line is open and flowing this time.
Came out for leak found old ice maker line in crawlspace leaking shut off valve checked meter no movement.
Perform camera inspection of sewer line. This charge is credited towards any repairs needed to be made Noticed that there is a root intrusion at the wye for washing machine and tub directly at the toilet 90.
Returned to properly secure the upstairs hall bath shower valve/ cover plate and caulked around trim. Also removed hair clog from lavatory sink pop up stopper. Tested and inspected. Not more leaks from shower and sink is draining properly.
Arrived and found a cracked CPVC elbow in the basement near the water heater. Also found that the TNP is leaking due to excessive water pressure which is caused by a failing pressure reducing valve. Replaced prv, t&p valve and cracked cpvc fitting.
Came out for toilet and pop up found vent not connected no shut off no expansion tank or pan gas line undersized. I turned off gas supply and gas control valve customer agreed to pull and reset toilet and replace pop up. After pulling toilet found that flange was broken called customer back she agreed over the phone replaced flange tested everything no leaks at this time. Customer wants us to come back tomorrow to bring water heater up to code.
Performed diagnostic on 26yr old Rheem furnace with a 5yr old Goodman ac unit, upon arrival customer stated when she switched to heat it never started up just was humming, checked tstst, already in heat mode, turned on light switch for furnace customer had turned off, upon trying to start up inducer was just humming and not spinning, pulled inducer to make sure no blockage, found no blockage just a lot of rust , was able to get inducer to spin but explain it can fail at any time, recommend replacing inducer, inspected heat exchanger can see a lot of rust build up, blower wheel heavily impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, explained motor can still fail, blower capacitor reading below specs, recommend replacing capacitor, system does not have flood protection, made customer aware, inspected outdoor unit, recommend cleaning condenser coil, due to age of furnace recommend install supervisor, customer approved, schedule with office for today, customer also signed up for home care today
As we arrived today, Jason explained to us that he needed power turned back on to his gazebo for the community. The electric meter and panel were locked up on both ends by the power company so I could not access anything inside of it to check connections. I talked to Jason and explain to him that he’s gonna have to get in touch with Snapping Shoals EMC to get the locks cut off so the inspector can come by and check everything out. Once the inspector has passed everything, he will turn power on temporarily so all electricity can be checked out and once that’s done, he will return back for a final inspection. If any problems are flagged by the inspector, those will have to be fixed before he will give permanent power.
