Performed diagnostic troubleshooting on a timer controlling an outlet for a pool pump. The circuit breaker was tripping instantly, indicating a direct short in the system. Upon inspection, I identified that the recently installed timer had been incorrectly wired. The issue stemmed from a jumper wire mistakenly run from the neutral terminal to the NO1 (Normally Open) terminal—likely due to a misinterpretation of the "N" terminal as "Neutral" rather than recognizing it as part of the timer's control logic. Previous installer believed there was 2 line side neutral terminal's. This incorrect wiring caused a direct short when the timer activated. I corrected the issue by removing the neutral jumper and properly wiring the black load wire from the outlet to the NO1 terminal. The circuit was tested and confirmed to be operating safely and as intended.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Upon arrival outdoor breaker was tripped. Found cap to be bad. Put a new cap on and compressor is pulling LRA amps that trip breaker after about 10 seconds of start up. Also found the furnace not heating due to a bad control board. System is over 22 yrs old. Customer elected to get estimates from install supervisor that is scheduled today 2-5pm. Left breaker off outside and fan running on the inside.

Came out for a local call. Upon arrival, discovered that one of the furnaces on the high voltage side was not wired in at all. They are wire nut together and need to be wired in properly and safely. New romex needed from junction box to furnace itself. All low voltage needs to be rewired and secured properly. Both systems have bad door switches and furnace boards. These parts are going to need to be replaced before any other troubleshooting can be complete. Scheduled install supervisor to come out and give estimates. Do not recommend repairs due to aids of system and the fact that we are looking at a high price just to get these units started up. House is kind of a duplex style one thermostat two systems, one supply trunk line one return trunk line. The system can be replaced with just one 5 ton system on the house as well. Recommended to convert over to one system to eliminate having to maintain two systems versus one. Left systems off at the switches as they were up upon arrival

Found leak in garage is coming from old cast-iron pipes and a couple holes in the lead toilet flange for the hall bathroom that was caused from being smashed by the subfloor which is leaking onto the floor in the garage every time the toilet is flushed. Need to replace Bathroom group cast-iron chunk that is in the garage ceiling. Total of three fixtures, which include one toilet, one tub, and one waste and vent connection for lavatory. Replaced the fill valve and flapper in hall bathroom due to deterioration of rubber seals. Replaced as a courtesy.

Came out today due to system not cooling. Upon a visual inspection found no water in the drain pan that was triggering the aqua guard. I also found that the indoor system was running, but it was not cooling. It was blowing out warmer. Upon inspection of the outdoor system had no power at the disconnect. Upon inspection of the outdoor system found that the 10 gauge wire going into the system was not installed properly, and it was just hanging the vibration of the system from running, had sliced through the metal wire because there was no Romax connector connected to secure the wire. Also upon inspection found that the outdoor capacitor is bad on the fan side, the contactor is very burnt impeded, the indoor system has no TE standard flood protection, there is no UV protection on the system, upon inspection of the inside system found that the evaporator coil is very dirty. Upon presenting all options to homeowner, he only chose to do a Band-Aid repair, which was to get the system back up

Performed only system service call due to system not cooling. Upon inspection of the system found outdoor system is a rude heat pump that is from 2011 and 22 refrigerant. Upon inspection of the outdoor system found that it is low on our 22 refrigerant causing the system to freeze up. Upon inspection of the indoor system found 2012 Amana gas furnace and coil. Upon Inspection of the attic found at the flue pipe for the furnace is not up to code, Drain line is stuffed into a dry plumbing stack, The blower will is very dirty, The blower capacitor is bad. The blower motor is pulling high amps due to a Bad capacitor and buildup. Upon speaking to the customer about r 22 being out an outdated Refrigerant and explained to her that I cannot add refrigerant to the system due to it being Discontinued. Giving options to homeowner. She wants to have a quote that is an AC coil only and she would also like to receive quotes for full system. If she does, the AC coil only also include one of the quotes

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Replaced capacitor and cleaned coil on single system house. Also found the supply and return side are a ton short on airflow each. Customer wants estimates to replace and upsize duct work and add zoning to system.
