For this job, I rented leak detection service for homeowner discovered leak just after meter before box with PRV and shut off valve area has been marked with flags.
Customer had us out to install customer provided thermostat. Spoke with customer about homecare memberships. Also spoke with customer about indoor air quality. Installed new thermostat and tested system in heating and cooling mode. System is heating and cooling fine at this time. Spoke with customer about operation of thermostat and how to use it. No wet switch on system added flood protection notice. Didn’t inspect system. Recommended changing filter customer declined.
Came out for tub leaking gave estimate to a temp to rebuild customer agreed took out stems replaced washers tested no failure at this time. Customer is aware that valve needs to be replaced also gave estimate for replacement.
Clear blockage, clearing special Customer was experiencing a hard blockage affecting bathtub drain only. Tested for mainline, only bathtub was affected. Ran tub gun in bathtub overflow to clear blockage. Pulled back small pieces of plastic wrap. Successfully cleared and got proper water flow.
For this job gave the customer a quote for a spot repair at his water meter where he has a busted meter nipple
