For this job conducted lead detective service for homeowner. Found the leak 4 feet off the left side of the home and 3 feet from the back left-hand corner of the home in the yard on pad area. Homeowner asked the area not be marked with flags. He’s gonna do the repair himself
Replaced customer supplied garbage disposal. Tested and inspected. Working properly with no leaks.
Upon arrival homeowner stated that they smelled something burning, upon inspecting indoor disconnect, terminals on disconnect were completely burnt up, explained to customer that we need to get power to indoor air handler and that there may be other issues with system, replaced disconnect as well as electrical whip, after replacing disconnect and electrical whip, outdoor unit would not turn on, checked refrigerant levels and found that unit was completely flat in refrigerant, also found that upstairs damper motor is stuck in the closed position, unwired and opened upstairs damper, damper will stay open until damper is replaced. recommended updating system due to the issues going on, scheduled install supervisor to come out Friday 2-27-26 12-3PM, customer did sign up for homecare and still has 3 visits available, also recommended indoor air quality either bluetube or apcox. Unit also does not have wet switch installed.
No heat call, upon arrival tenant stated that temperature does not go above 63 degrees, upon inspecting unit outdoor unit does not have any power, Air handler also has 15kw heat strips with the incorrect size wire coming from electrical panel to air handler, wire going to air handler will need to be upsized to correct size as it is a safety/fire hazard, also noticed electrical panel has a lot of things that are not up to code, we will need to send electrician out to get power to outdoor unit, home does not have any attic access, home also does not have dryer vent installled, quoted dryer vent installation, dining room also does not have any vents, unit also is low on airflow, we will need an electrician to come out to get power to outdoor unit before we can get the outdoor unit running, homeowner wanted us to install dryer vent, went to supply house to get parts to install dryer vent, installed dryer vent, tested dryer, we will need to return when outdoor unit gets power. As we arrive today, Mrs. Sexton explained to us that she needed an existing ceiling fan and her master bedroom replaced with a ceiling fan that she had purchased. We removed the existing ceiling fan and install installed the new customer supplied ceiling fan. Once all connections were made the ceiling fan worked properly. I also talked to Mrs. Sexton about putting in a surge protector in the elliptical panel. I have attached an estimate for that to be done in the future. It was very nice meeting you today! Called out for a back up in master toilet observed entire bathroom area not draining. Pulled toilet to clear blockage. Blockage was tissue. Reset toilet tested thoroughly line is open at this time. Thanks for choosing TE.
That we arrived today, customer explained to us that one of her smoke detectors was beeping constantly. After removing the smoke detector, you can clearly see where it states on the back and once the smoke detector is 10 years old, it will start beeping every 30 seconds letting you know it’s time to replace it. This smoke detector along with all the other smoke detectors in the home were installed in 2014 making the smoke detectors almost 12 years old. We replaced the beeping smoke detector and once that happened, everything stopped beeping. I’m leaving and attached estimate for installing new smoke detectors throughout the house to replace all of the older ones. Unfortunately, all of them are going to start beeping sooner than later because of the age. It was very nice to meet you today! There was a wire in the attic that was believed to be burnt but it actually was black residue that I was able to clean off the wire to verify.
Provide and install a 26kw generac whole home generator.
Installed new halo 5, replaced 2 gal expansion tank with 4 gal tank. Tested and regen all supply lines and newly installed units, no leaks with proper operation. All shutoff tags and stickers have been installed and properly labeled. Customer is very satisfied all ok at this time.
Customer called us out for a shower drain in hall bathroom that is partially blocked. I checked the shower and the the sink and gave quotes for both. Customer wanted to just get the shower done today. I removed the stopper and pulled out all hair. I then removed the over flow cover and ran a tub gun down the line. I tested the shower throughly. Customers water heater is 7 years old but is leaking from under the insulation. I highly recommended the customer get it looked at. At the moment they want to wait until they get their roof fixed.
Came out for customer supplied lav faucet no warranty on customer supplied parts. Lifetime warranty on craftsmanship. Tested no failure at this time.
Customer called us out for a blockage of the master and hall bathrooms. I tested to make sure the kitchen sink was not affecting it as well. The toilet was pulled on arrival and the pipe was half full of water. I recommended running a cable machine to clear and the customer agreed. I ran the machine down clearing the blockage. I cleaned up and tested with the sink and hall bathrooms. Customer will reset the toilet. A sewer supervisor will be out to check the pipe 2/10 11-2.
