Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: outlets not working on one wall of kitchen LOCATION: and kitchen on left wall FINDINGS: one GFI was burned and needed to be replaced. Other outlets are working properly. RESOLUTION: replace GFCI and plugged in equipment. Everything is functioning properly. Note: we are unable to access the main panel on the left side because there’s plumbing in front of it and the panel opens like a swinging door.
Troubleshoot of potentially sparking outlets, opened up multiple outlets a switches, no issues to be found, most likely a cause of a failing ballast in closet fluorescent light. One cause for concern was an outlet in bathroom not gfci protected.
