Completed bid work. Built a return Plenum and installed to the unit. Added a return and supply to the upstairs room where it was needed. The room is now getting adequate air and is cooling. The system now has correct return air. Customer also signed up for the home care. we discontinued the supply run that ran into the bonus room. We added a larger supply run to that bonus room. We also added return air to the bonus room because there was no return. The system is now running according to specifications.
Completed inspection. Customer had us out to inspect airflow to an upstairs room. This is because the supply don’t work is ran improper. Upon inspection found that air coming out of the supply vent was not cold. This room also does not have a return, and enough return for the system. When presenting options to the customer, customer approved the bid work for the Band-Aid repair.
Performed diagnostic on main level unit. Found compressor failed. Upon inspection outdoor unit found upstairs unit frozen as well. Unit is R22 and original to the home. Due to age of unit and type of refrigerant being and nature of failure customer would like estimate for replacement for both units. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Cleared shower drain with cable machine, ran machine 3 times and tested drain for proper flow, customer was also concerned about a stop valve issue they have been having with 2 toilets, dispatch will reach out to the customer to schedule a time and day that works best.
Today I did a diagnosis on the kitchen lighting circuit. Upon diagnosis I found an internally tripped breaker for the kitchen lights and hallway outlet. The breaker tripped due to the use of a space heater plugged into the outlet in the hallway before you get to the garage. I recommended to replace the breaker with a new one. The homeowner denied this repair at this time. I also left a quote for a dedicated circuit for said heater.
