Adam and his team were amazing! By 8:30 in the morning there were four trucks from TE and the guys really went to work. I needed to have two furnaces replaced and they had almost everything completed by 11 AM. Unfortunately, there was an unforeseen complication that had nothing to do with the team or their work. An outside vendor will be needed to fix the problem. However, if it weren’t for Adam and all the guys being so diligent about checking and re-checking, I’m not sure the problem would have been found. They really are fantastic. Extremely polite and very professional. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

TE Certified handles pretty much all of the major systems in our home (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing). All of their technicians are polite and efficient and always show up on time. A profile and picture of technician is provided before they arrive so you have confidence in who shows up at your front door. Thank you to all of the folks at TE who have helped us through many issues.

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the woman’s restroom of the showroom. The toilet that was affected was the center toilet. When flushed the water went down but left small amounts of toilet paper behind. I recommended clearing the toilet with a closet auger to remove the partial blockage. Customer agreed and requested that I run the auger down the last toilet as well. I ran the auger down the toilet that was initially giving the customer an issue and retrieved a green sock. The other toilet I did not retrieve anything but it did feel like there was something there the first time that wasn’t there on subsequent times running the auger down. I tested both toilets throughly and cleaned up.
David & Ruby reached out to T.E. regarding a number of small projects around the house. These included: minor faucet issues, replacement of the master bathroom toilet, and installation of one new frost free hose bib, and replacing three existing hose bibs with frost free units. At this time, we have elected to move forward with the addition of one new hose bib, but are holding off on replacing the other three. Turned water off to the home and drained down the system. Disconnected old toilet, cleaned underlying floor to best of ability. Installed new wax ring and fastening bolts, new straight (compression) stop, and 20” toilet supply line. Shimmed the front of the unit caulked toilet securely in place. Devised homeowner(s) not to use the commode for a period of 24hr to allow cull to set and cure properly. Installed new straight (compression) stops for the hot and cold supply lines below the David’s sink in the master bathroom. David had informed us of having low flow issues w
At arrival on 02/20/26 found both systems not cooling. I found that someone added low/high pressure switch at the discharge service valves and wired them inline with condenser fans. When reseted, compressor will come one but condenser fan will not come one. I disconnected the pressure switch wired inline with condenser fan, and system started working. No wet safety switch Potentially clogged up drain line Dirty condenser coil Low refrigerant Cleaned drain line Installed 2 wet safety switches Added 2lbs of refrigerant R-410A on main floor system
We install a spring of a light fixture that had been improperly install by drywall crew
For this job, I worked on replacing the shower valve cartridge in the master bathroom. Went ahead tested and check for leaks. Also dumped down the pressure on the pressure reducing valve.
Customer was having issue to put the door furnace back on place. Showed her the best way to do and signed up for home care maintenance plan. Inspected system. Found a crack in the heat exchanger, blower wheel very dirty, evaporator coil with biological growth, single capacitor weak (4.5 on a 5 microfarad) and dual capacitor weak, as well (42 on a 45 microfarad). System is 10 years old and out of warranty. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend). At this age and conditions, the best option would be to upgrade the furnace (for safety purposes), and bring comfort and efficiency back to the house. New systems come with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. System is heating and cooling, but air quality in the house is poor and contaminated, also, possible Co leaking also. Flue pipe is single wall , rusted and taped, and there is a flex gas line going into the furnace (it should be hard pipe gas line, by code). Customer declined a quote to up at this time. Also, highly recomme
For this job I replaced a kitchen faucet and 3 stop valves underneath the kitchen sink. I removed old faucet and and installed customer supplied faucet. I tested and left work area clean.
For this job, I worked on providing a panel cover, installing a new breaker and separating grounds and neutrals in a spa disconnect
Upon arrival, customer notified me they would like to have the three lights on their front porch replaced. Customer will be providing the light fixtures and the bulbs for the installation to be completed. Customer would also like to have doorbell replaced. Customer would also like to have a bulb installed upstairs. While I was installing the new light fixtures on the front porch, I noticed that the existing GFCI was in bad shape so we’re going to give the customer an option to get it replaced. We will give them a discounted price since we were already here on site to take care of the work today.
Install pendant lights and replace outdoor outlet
Arrived to troubleshoot a Mr cool mini split with an error code for refrigerant leak detected. We looked inside and out for the leak but was unable to find it, client approved us to add refrigerant to restore cooling and would like an estimate to replace the mini split. The system serves a 200sq foot insulated shed in the yard that is being used as a home office. It’s currently a 115v Mr cool wall mounted on the exterior of the shed. After we added 2 lbs of refrigerant, restored cooling and dropped supply temp from 72 down to 39 degrees, system cooling. Call complete.
Upstairs system not cooling and blowing warm air instead. Heat pump system, still running in heat, even when thermostat is calling for cool. Reversing valve was stuck on heat mode. I was able to unstuck and system started to cool the house. Evaporator coil is covered by dirty and dust, so the blower wheel. Also, no in line switch, for the drain line and air handler is sitting on a wrong type of drain pan. Supply plenum is very dirty as well. System seems to be low on Freon. I only can determine after evaporator coil and blower wheel being cleaned up. Right now, there is a huge air restriction thru the evaporator coil and it’s contaminating the air quality. System is 14 years old and has some issues . Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend), and, at this condition and age, the best option would be to upgrade the upstairs heat pump system, and bring safety, comfort and efficiency back to the house. New systems come with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Sent estimates t
Today we came out for a second opinion on main level trane 80k furnace. Inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found crack at 7 o clock through high limit switch. Took pictures of crack and will email to client. Scheduled install supervisor for Saturday 3-6 to give options on a new furnace and left repair options as well.
I Re worked tubular drains for new disposal. The customer supplied disposal that was purchased was faulty. I advised the customer of this and is going to order a new one. I will be returning on 02/23/2026 to install the new disposal. I also installed a new shut off valve for the rear hosebibb. All pictures of both installs will be uploaded to the invoice on Monday.
For this job I replaced the front hosebib that was leaking, i also raised it per home owners request, she will be spray foaming behind the wall to help insulate the water line. I also replaced a toilet in the upstairs hall bath. I installed new Kohler Kingston toilet, I inspected flange, installed new wax ring, bolts and water supply line. I caulked around the toilet, tested and left work area clean.
