Homeowner

Both service technicians worked quickly to identify the cause if the leaky faucet. They quickly replaced the pressure regulator valve in hopes that was the cause of the leak. When the leak remained unresolved, Steve identified the parts needed to repair the faucet. Unfortunately, that didn’t work (no fault of his workmanship), and he presented options for us. Both technicians were polite and very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend.

Outstanding service and professionalism!

We recently got two plumbing jobs done from Stephen Matthews. Both were large jobs… heater replacement and a new gas line to the kitchen. He took his time to do a thorough job, no rush, no cutting corners and has the perfect demeanor. I cannot say enough about how satisfied we are after completion of both. He also went over and above what he had committed to do. Highly recommend him for any plumbing work!

Upon arrival and approval, we began the previously quoted work of installing two new faucets in the upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom and rebuilding both toilets upstairs. We also pulled the toilet in the jack and Jill bathroom because it was wobbling. Upon investigation, we discovered that the flange was sitting too high on one side. This would cause the toilet to not sit properly on the flange. We removed the improperly installed flange, trimmed down the pipe coming out of the floor and installed a new flange and insured it was sitting where it’s supposed to be. Checked everything for leaks and proper function no further issues at this time.

2 System Inspection Cycled each system through heat and cool from the thermostat. Changed both filters, took temperature readings at indoor equipment, blower motors, and coils. Checked and tightened all electrical connections, used multimeter to check all motors, power enhancers, and high wear components. Both systems are operating properly at this time with no immediate issues. No in-line flood protection on main level system, recommend adding this to protect the home and equipment. Also recommend adding BlueTube UV system to the equipment to protect the coil and the home. The main level system is single stage builder grade equipment that is zoned. This equipment is not designed to operate a zone system and the compressor is showing its age due to this. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

For this job I replaced a pressure regulator that that failed and was allowing close to 100 psi of water into the home. Customer was having faucets and valves drip. I installed a new pressure regulator and set pressure to 65 psi. Fixtures are rated to a maximum of 80 psi. Dripping seems to have stopped, if it continues we’ll move forward with replacing cartridges that could have possibly gotten damaged with the high water pressure.

Installed new Navien 240a2 tankless water heater in the basement. After install I pressurized the system, bleed air, checked for leaks and proper function. Due to an electrical issue in the basement I was not able to use the outlet nearby. Electrical department came out and spoke to the homeowner on what needs to get done with the electrical. Tankless is on dropcord and customer understands that the electrical will need to get done to plug the unit up the right way. Thank you for choosing te certified

I came out tonight due to plumbers working on the home the plumber had his drill plugged into a receptacle located in the basement by the tv/right of the door and and his bit made contact to the A/C outside and created a spark. I found that the Equipment Grounding Conductor on the receptacles is energized posing a very dangerous situation. The circuit controlling devices these is in the sub-panel located in the basement on #2 of the panel board. This circuit also controls the (17) recess lights and it also has an S/O cord leaving a junction box and going into the wall which is a violation of the NEC as well. For safety purposes I am removing the wire off the breaker so it cannot be turned back on and pose a danger to someone. I left an estimate for the repairs. Wire in just beneath the sub-panel a 15 amp GFCI device for the tankless.
