Excellent service!

Joshua was excellent and extremely professional. He had to cut a hole in the drywall to access the plumbing but everything was put back together neatly when he was finished, even the books on the bookshelf. Above and beyond.

Excellent service!

Ben called me to tell me when he would arrive. He was 5 min early. He went to work and did the service I needed done. He checked the transfer box. I told him I hoped I don’t see him until next year. I’m all set for this hectic icy weekend coming up. And another big thanks to Tiffany or Amy who scheduled him on the same day. I’m getting older so I couldn’t remember her name but she was very helpful in getting the service scheduled.

At arrival on 01/27/26 found main floor system not heating properly. Only heating on strip. After diagnostic found that the thermostat setting for compressor minimum run temperature was set to OFF, consequently the compressor was running at any temperature which lead to excessive defrost trials fault. Additionally the condenser fan blade was frozen up and stuck. The compressor was running, but the condenser fan was not spinning. All of these led to system operation issues. Adjusted compressor minimum run temperature and defrosted the condenser fan blade. Tested system for normal operation, system is operating properly at this time. No concerns.

For this job I came to see a leak in the ceiling, the drywall was failing in garage due to a frozen and busted pipe above the garage. I replaced failed section of pipe amd replaced with new fittings and piping. I also referred water mitigation. I advise home owner of high water pressure that can potentially cause more damage to plumbing system. I left quotes on replacing the regulator and water heater as well.

Today I moved one circuit in the panel to make space to add a new 60 amp circuit feeding a new, TE supplied Tesla charger in the garage. I also installed a whole home surge protector

Arrived on site for a nest without power. He removed and charged it to get the thermostat to work temporarily but we found the common wire wasn’t attached, not keeping the thermostat charged. We also discovered some dirty duct work, impacted filter and dirty blower wheel responsible for limit switch faults after running heat for awhile. We changed filter, and spoke about joining Homecare to avoid things like this. During our inspection client had to leave to pickup his son, and asked me to close up behind me on the way out. I did create some estimates I emailed over but the thermostat is fully operational, filter change eliminated limit faults and the system is heating properly again, despite some signs of wear and tear on the unit. Call complete.

Called out to complete sold work for replacement of the home main shut off valve and PRV. Began by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once water was drained, cut out old man shut off and PRV and installed new all brass quarter turn ball valve and all brass dual chamber watts PRV. Once I work was complete, reintroduce water to the system and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Advised homeowner that the faucet and said vanity is leaking from the body itself and will need to be replaced. Homeowner will be calling collar to get a replacement due to the. Faucet being relatively new and will call us out to install when ready. Homeowner also wanted estimates for reverse osmosis system for the kitchen. Give the homeowner multiple options and she will review and let us know when she’s ready to schedule. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs

Homeowner called us out due leak on pipe above water heater. After further discussion and assessment, we ended up replacing the cold side dip tube on the left water heater, ball valve, incorrectly installed swing valve on recirc line, and we installed a new shutoff form the main incoming line of both heaters, a check valve for the main cold line, and a groudfos alpha recirc pump. All work was tested and checked for leaks. The recirc pump was set to temperature control with homeowner.

No heat whole home. Found system to be off and turned on. System started running upon arrival. Inspected system findings bug in burner p, dirty flame sensor, cracked heat exchanger, dirty blower wheel, no flood protection and system is in a spray foam attic and lacks proper combustion air which lead to premature failure of heat exchanger. Recommend replacement of furnace. Informed customer of cracks in heat exchanger, advised due to safety concern not to operate the heat. Left thermostat in off position. Advised customer availability of heat exchanger is unknown as manufacturer closed for day. Will update quote and email over in the morning.

Homeowner has a water stain on the ceiling in the foyer. Homeowner states water came through the ceiling, and that it occurred when the washing machine was ran, however at the same time, she had also drained the tub out. Cut into ceiling in foyer. Found that the water spot was directly below the tub waste and over flow. Ran the tub to further explore leak. Leak started from the tub drain seal as soon as water was running. Removed old tub waste and over flow. Removed tub drain and overflow plate. Cleaned points of contact on tub and ensured smooth and clean connection points. Installed new tub waste and overflow. Installed new chrome lift and turn tub drain with new putty seal. Installed new chrome overflow plate. Ran water for approximately 20 minutes to test for leaks. Filled tub and drained tub 2 times to further test for leaks. Water pressure in house is 40 PSI Water heater is from 2023

Bad relay on the heat strips kit resulted in the equipment not heating properly during defrost mode. Replaced kit and verified equipment is heating properly at this time.
