Andrew treated us like family!

Andrew got here on Schedule and immediately got down to diagnosing what was broken in the AC for our bedrooms. I swear, the first thing he appeared to do was take the systems pulse. Next he went outside. Then he nodded and said, "I think I know what's wrong." He had most of it fixed quickly (I'll be back in my bed tonight) and made some sound recommendations to head off future problems. TE will be getting my business from here on!

30 year old Water heater in the basement of the home has ruptured and poured into the basement. I drained the water system and water heater and removed from the home. Installed new water heater with a new shut off valve, gas shut off valve, and other accessories to bring the water heater up to code. Also replaced the pressure regulator and main water shut off valve. Tested with no leaks.

For this job, we installed a 1.5 ton Rheem full system with a media cabinet. Installed a new outlet/switch to power the furnace. Replaced the drain pan and added new drain safeties. We attached back to the existing plenums and removed a non functional UV light. Replaced the drain, flue, and gas with new piping ensuring that there are no leaks. Installed a new Ecobee smart thermostat. Replaced the vibration pad and electrical whip to the outdoor unit. Brazed, pressure tested, vacuumed and charged to manufacturer specifications. Tested that both heating and cooling modes work as intended and completed the walkthrough with the customer.

Performed 1 system diagnostics on a 2017 Lennox system that cools the upstairs. I found that the capacitor had failed on the outdoor unit and the outside condenser coil was impacted with dirt. I also found that the contactor on the outdoor unit had pitted contacts and the air handler capacitor was outside of the manufactures specifications. I went over the findings with the homeowner and with their permission; I replace the parts mentioned above and rinsed off the outdoor condenser coil. The refrigerant pressures were good. The unit was operating at the end of the service call. I also replaced the filter with a customer provided air filter. Unit no longer concerned by the manufactures warranty. I emailed the homeowner flood protection estimate.

Upon arrival customer stated that system was not cooling as of last night it stopped working and that outdoor unit would never come on but the indoor unit would. After inspection of system found that defrost control board was showing an error code of “defrost operation” reset board and board then started to give an error code of “AMB sensor failure”. Tried to bypass sensor and reset system to see if system would come on and it stayed in the same lockout code. Will order new defrost control board and ambient temperature sensor when the supply house open back Monday morning 7/7/25. Advised customer of issue and let him know that I will check part availability when supply house is open, part and labor are covered under warranty due to customer maintaining regular routine maintenance of the equipment. Will check system operations when parts are replaced. System currently. Not working at this time.

Customer called us out because a toilet in the upstairs bathroom overflowed all over the bathroom. There’s a major clog in the toilet drain. I will have to pull the toilet and remove the stoppage and reset the toilet verifying that there are no leaks and that everything is draining properly. I was successfully able to remove stoppage. I tested it by running Lots of water. The customer does have very old cast-iron pipe and so we have scheduled for a camera technician to come and do an inspection tomorrow 9 AM to 11 AM Everything is draining properly at this time. Customer is very satisfied. I also provided the customer with our ENDURE drain maintenance product.

Install new wet switch and in-line switch with the dragon fly board. Move the indoor system forward so the existing supply plenum can fit. Configured flue pipe, gas line, and drain line to the new location of the indoor unit. Brazed, pressured with nitrogen, vacuum, and properly charged the system. Test the safety switches and poured 2 gallon of water down the drain line. Test system on heat and cool mode. System is currently working.
