Today I was able to have Ben and Martin at my residence today. The were finishing my install of my Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. And if I had to describe their work in a word? Amazing. Not only did they do a great job with my Tankless Water install but my wife asked while they are here - could they fix the 5 slow drains in all the bathroom sinks? They have never worked great since we built the house. Ben and Martin were able to upgrade and replace our drains with much better Kohler products. Just - WOW! They did a great job and I am as pleased as could be. We have one more project in the works and we plan to call TE Certified. I hope Josh the Owner of TE Certified sees this survey. I really want him to know that Ben and Martin continue to knock it out of the ballpark. They both represent TE Certified in a very positive light!!

We had an urgent need on Christmas Eve as our furnace completely stopped running, no warning, no prior issues. Our regular HVAC company had once said they didn't work on a Nest and my husband had heard TE Certified advertise on the radio and suggested we reach out. Koi Perng was the technician assigned to our situation and he did a thorough inspection of our unit. Unfortunately, he didn't have good news and our furnace required a lot of work. It seems the company we had been using for the last 2 years had never made us aware of all the issues with our furnace. Because of the holiday and needed parts, it was 4 days before Koi could come back and fix our system. He was excellent, took videos of his work and walked us through every step of the process, what our unit looked like before and after, and patiently explained how we likely got where we were and why such extensive work was necessary. While I wouldn't wish our situation on anyone else, Koi, and others at TE Certified made it a positive experience. We will continue to use TE Certified for our annual maintenance and highly recommend their service.

This was my first time using TE Certified and will definitely use them again for future needs. Nathan and Kelvin (plumbing) were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He called while on his way and arrived within the scheduled arrival time. I am replacing a 1989-era dishwasher and needed both electrical and plumbing work done before it could be installed. I was pleased with the service and overall experience, from scheduling to work completed, to their workmanship warranty.

This was my first experience with TC Certified and it has been great. I will certainly use them again in the future. I am replacing a dishwasher from 1989 and there was both electrical and plumbing work that had to be done. It was easy to schedule with TE, they sent a reminder text and a call to let me know they were on their way and Carlos (electrician part) was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

As most of the jobs that I have performed with TE, Martin clearly explained to me the different options available and provided pros/cons of each. Everything is working as expected, and left everything clean. The price might be higher that other companies, but it worth it having the security the job is professionally done.

Customer reported that the front yard main drain cleanout plug was broken by landscapers and needed replacement. Upon arrival, I inspected the cleanout and confirmed the plug was damaged and no longer serviceable. Replaced the broken cleanout plug and verified it was properly sealed and accessible. During the plumbing evaluation, I also observed that the water heater is approximately 8 years old and nearing its typical life expectancy. I discussed potential replacement options and future planning with the customer. Customer acknowledged the recommendation but elected to only replace the cleanout plug at this time. All work completed was tested and is functioning properly at this time.
Tech arrived to problem call for upstairs system. Homeowner had expressed that the system was not heating properly. System is approximately 10 years old. Inspected system. Found that the indoor blower motor was having issues starting and coming on/off randomly. Capacitor tested within specs. Found indoor unit dirty and in need of cleaning. Verified heat strips are operational. Checked outdoor unit. Refrigerant pressures are within specs at this time. Outdoor unit is dirty and in need of cleaning. Brought recommendations to customer. Homeowner agreed to sign up for HomeCare maintenance on two systems, replace motor and add wet switch upstairs. Tech changed out PSC motor with OEM PSC motor and capacitor. Add wet switch in series with two float switches and in line float switch. Verified operations after repairs. System is now heating at techs departure. Thank you for letting TE CERTIFIED service your home.
Verified customers issue running out of hot water mainly in the master bath and her daughter‘s bath isolated the recirculation line using the ball valve in line and they’re in the water for approximately 10 minutes with no drop in temperature. Temperature was dropping between 30 seconds to a minute and a half of running With the check valve open. Replaced the check valve on the recirculation line when I turned the water back onto the heater the TNP line started leaking. I advised the customer at this time. It would be best to just replace the whole heater. Customer wishes to install tankless next year and wants to Band-Aid this heater and make it last as long as possible, so I installed a new TnP line at a deep discount.
Repaired system and tested all circuits. Found that reversing valve coil was actually not bad and did not replace today removed off of invoice. Unit is heating good at this time. Check pressures no issues. Recommend going on a home care plan.
Multiple problems found. Found low voltage wire on pressure switch grounded out and repaired. After repair found hard short and determined that defrost board and reversing valve both shorted out and trip fuse immediately. Left customer working on emergency heat for tonight. Will seek parts tomorrow and update customer.
Estimate is to change both HVAC systems in home, new plenums, correct duct issue with back 2 bedrooms, media filters and permit all work with Sugar Hill.
Leak in garage ceiling Cut sheetrock in garage ceiling to try and locate leak. Turned on water and left on for the duration of our visit Leak never showed up. Ran ALL fixtures upstairs to try and recreate leak. CANNOT find any plumbing leaks at this time. Customer will call back if leaks come back
Perform whole home inspection. Replace breaker for A/C. A/C breaker was 50amp, name plate rating said max was 40amps. Everything tested and working properly.
Performed a no heat diagnostics. Noticed flue pipe was not secured onto system and was out of code. Gas valve and control board were faulty. Also heat exchanger was cracked. Homeowner wanted a quote for an install supervisor. Lead was set and payment collected.
