Because of this, the main panel has been compromise and will have to be changed out. The wire that is bolted onto the panel runs to a small subpanel that feeds the HVAC system. The wires that run to the furnace are the wrong size and the wire that runs to the AC unit is exposed. It needs to be inside the ceiling or in conduit. The wire that feeds the subpanel is exposed in some areas and needs to be rerun.
