Main floor system is dual fuel. The system primary source of heating and cooling is coming from the outdoor heat pump. The furnace is used for emergency heat purposes and I believe the fuel source hear is LP. The downstairs usually doesn’t have a hard time to heat or cool so a heat pump is perfectly sufficient for the needs of the home. After completing inspection of system is question I did not find anything wrong issues with refrigerant levels, airflow or temperature deltas that are improper. The heating temperature difference was over 30 and the cooling delta was just a bit below 20. The refrigerant levels and readings are in manufacturers specifications for current ambient temperatures. The tested electronic components and tested condensation drain. At this time systems are working as designed. I do recommend having normal annual maintenance with TE homecare. The systems are right about 8 yrs old.
