The homeowner experienced a water leak coming from a penetration in the foundation of the home. I dug in front of the penetration and discovered that it was caused by a burst copper pipe. I cut out the damaged section of the pipe and replaced it with new soft copper. Additionally, I re-piped the plumbing for the pressure reducing valve (PRV) and shut-off valve, relocating them to a more accessible location for the homeowner. Both the PRV and shut-off valve were replaced with new ones due to their age. After completing the work, I tested everything to ensure there were no leaks.
