No heat whole home. Upon arrival discovered unit did not appear to have low voltage at indoor equipment. Visually inspected outdoor equipment as well. When walking up to outdoor equipment the electrical compartment of heat pump was open to the elements for an unknown period of time as the cover was laying on the ground with large amount of dirt and debris on top of it. Informed homeowner of my findings and advised due to the condition of equipment prior to my arrival there would be no telling what I was going to determine needed replacing. Upon inspection found the fuse had blown in unit, indoor control board had failed, blower motor has play in shaft indicating bearing failure, large amounts of biological growth inside unit, very rusty evap coil, outdoor control board has corroded soldier joints on back of board and a very strong smell of burning radiating from board, contactor is very rusty due to element exposer along with capacitor as well.
