Upon arrival, customer notified me that the circuit breaker has been tripping for the kitchen for approximately 3 to 4 months. The customer recently got a refrigerator and since they’ve gotten in the refrigerator, the breaker has continued to trip. The refrigerator will have lights that will randomly pop up based off of what the customer has indicated to me. We will be conducting a diagnosis to determine if there’s any sort of fault on the circuit that is causing the breaker to trip. After conducting our diagnosis, we have determined that all connection points on branch circuit number 17 labeled as kitchen, GFCI and refrigerator are correct. All the outlets are new and in operable condition. We noticed that there was a surge protector installed behind the refrigerator. We also checked the electrical panel and wiring for the circuit breaker. All wiring that is accessible appears to be correct. After turning the circuit breaker back on it held while we were on site.
