We came out today due to the garage door openers not working. The customer stated that she just had the exterior of the home power washed. We went into the garage and I discovered a tripped and broken GFCI device. I told the homeowner that the device needs to be replaced because the trip button was broken. I also stated that we need to inspect as to where water got into a device and caused the trip so we could help prevent it from happening again. The circuit for the garage is circuit #20 and it is on a single pole 15 AFCI breaker. The GFCI device also controls (3) exterior receptacles and after further investigation this is what was found. -Front of Home- The box holding the device is sticking out past the brick and the cover was not sitting flat to the brick and no silicone was on the gasket to prevent water from entering. The device was moist from the pressure washer so I replaced it at no additional cost. I also applied silicone around both sides of the gasket to provide as mush
