Called out to address wobbly toilet with a smell of sewer fumes. Gave homeowner a solution to pull and reset the toilet and replace the wax ring and inspect the flange to make sure it’s in good condition. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Began by shutting off water to the toilet And pulling the toilet. Cleaned off old wax and inspected flange. Flange was in good shape and flush to the ground. Installed new wax ring, new closet bolts, and reinstalled the toilet. Tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and toilet is functioning properly and no longer rocking.
