2 System HomeCare Cycled each system through heat and cool from the thermostat. Checked both filters, flushed drain lines with 2 gallons of hot water, endure, and mighty pump. Took temperature readings at indoor equipment, inspected heat exchangers, blower motors, and coils. Checked and tightened all electrical connections, used multimeter to check all motors, power enhancers, and high wear components. Both systems are currently operating but have some issues and safety concerns. The main level system is over 15 years old and has a cracked heat exchanger. This is a safety concern. The blower wheel and motor are both impacted with the debris, the evaporator coil is rusted out, the igniter and flame rectifier are both weak and chalky, and the filter racks is not properly installed. No wet switch. The basement system is 30 years old (1995 Bryant).
