Completed first time homecare maintenance for two systems in the home. Both systems are over 20 years old and found that both of the furnaces have cracks in the heat exchanger. The main level system is an extremely poor condition and neither of the furnaces are safe to run at this time. Tested the air conditioning systems for both and found the main level is leaking r22 refrigerant. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
