On our most recent visit to look into a water leak, the technician came out at the cost of $249.00. Upon completion we received a quote for just under $8000.00. We had another vendor come out who had the right equipment and was able to find the leak and properly diagnose the problem. A third vendor came out and confirmed the right diagnosis and quoted us $2400.00 to fix the problem. The TE technician diagnosed the water leak in a totally different part of the house, did not have the proper equipment to conduct the diagnosis and then wanted to charge $6000 more for a job that likely would not have resolved the issue. We have used TE a lot for electrical, minor plumbing, and A/C and had rather good service up until the last couple calls. Pricing for TE is out of control and not affordable. We will no longer be using TE for any of our home issues pertaining to A/C, plumbing, or electrical. Very disappointed.
