Arrived on-site, checked in with the customer, reviewed the WE Energies form left, and assessed what was going on. The atmospheric water heater installed is having venting issues. B vent from water heater goes to a 7” pipe routed into the chimney. The 7” pipe has a rust hole in it that will need to be fixed. We propose to install a new 4” chimney liner kit to route from the chimney outside down to the basement and to be tied into the water heater in question. Once repair is made, turn water heater on and back in operation. Check for any leaks and confirm venting is working properly.
