Completed a service call for new homeowners having issues with their system. Their old thermostat went blank and they attempted to replace thermostat but there was no power to the thermostat. We found a popped 5amp fuse. Before this they said the system was working well so we replaced the fuse and cycled the system to check operations. System appears to be slightly overcharged and the blower was dirty. There’s no active flood protection and the dual capacitor is approaching failure. We spoke about a few of these things but he was just happy to have the ac back on. They declined Homecare today but thanked us for coming out to remedy the issue. The furnace is 6 years old and the AC was manufactured in 2014. System operational upon departure. Call complete.
