Customer called us out due to disposal not working. Upon arrival I attempted to flip the switch but got nothing. I checked the disposal reset button and it had been tripped. I pressed it and turned unit on to hear a very loud banging sound. After further inspection I found and key clip stuck inside. I removed it and showed customer. I told them that unit does still work but I can’t be sure that this clip didn’t cause and other damage that could cause a potential leak. Since we were here customer decided to replace it with one he had already purchased. We also replaced the faucet in the laundry room since it was dripping. Tested for leaks and function. No issues when we left.
