During our visit, the customer mentioned is selling the house and needed a couple things fixed. The inspector pointed out that the water heater flue was missing a heat shield, and the hose bib on the right side of the home needed to be secured. An estimate was presented to the customer and approved. The single wall venting on the water heater replaced with double wall pipe and fittings. A thimble was added on ceiling as the flue pipe passes through the drywall. The hose bib was also secured and siliconed. These repairs were tested for functionality after completion.
