The customer had drywall were moved in the dining room and in the kitchen due to the leak that had occurred in inside the house and an open air splice was found. I came out and had to install (2) junction boxes with cover plates in the kitchen ceiling, one above the cabinets and (1) just off from the center recess light. In the hallway I found (2) additional open air splices and was able to correct this with one junction box in the ceiling with a plate. In the hallway bathroom I removed the existing fixture due to improper wiring and installation and supplied and installed a new 6” led wafer lights and set the color temperature to 5000k. I inspected the wafer lights in the living room and found that the previous technician did not secure the wiring in the attic and this is a violation of 334.30 of the NEC.
