For this job we installed a 26kw Generac generator on the right side of the customers home. We installed 2 transfer switches with disconnects on either side of the meter. Both previous disconnects had breaker space in them with a few breakers in each. What we did was we got a regular transfer switch with just a disconnect and the second transfer switch was a disconnect with 20 breaker spaces. So on the one with just a disconnect we moved 2 circuits over in pipe above the meter going into the transfer switch with breaker space now one disconnect has all the breakers in one. We also ran another pipe parallel with the first pipe for the gen cable to connect both transfer switches together. We also installed 4 load shed modules on all the A/C units, on the same side of the house as the generator. We went ahead and did QC on the generator and everything works properly and functions as it should. We installed 2 switches that the customer provided as a courtesy.
