We replaced the angle stop valves beneath the left sink in the master bathroom to ensure the water supply to the faucet can be properly shut off until a new faucet is installed. This work allows the fixture to be isolated safely and prevents unwanted water flow while awaiting the replacement faucet. While on site, we identified an active leak on the main water service line at the shutoff valve located before the water meter on the city side of the service line. This section of the line is the responsibility of the City of Atlanta. The homeowner was informed of the condition and advised to contact the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management to have the leak addressed to prevent continued water loss.
