Upon arrival, I was pointed to the master bathroom toilet. When the toilet was flushed, it was leaking out of the front and around the sides. After providing options and upon approval, we pulled the toilet and inspected the flange. We discovered that the flange was not broken it was installed at the proper height. The screws were too small for the holes in the flange. The previous installer solution for this issue was to create washers out of copper. This made the screws stick up instead of sitting flush with the top of the flange. These screws would not allow the toilet to sit properly on the flange We replaced the screws with the proper screws that have heads big enough to properly interface with the flange and still sit flush with the top of the flange. We reinstalled the toilet and tested for leak after testing for leaks we silicone the toilet as code requires. As we were testing, we noticed that the fill valve was not working properly.
