Arrived on site. Customer showed me to the front yard where there is water, penetrating through ground, which Intel’s leak at water service. Noticed waterline is polybutylene, gained access from crawlspace to ensure piping is polybutylene. Recommend customer to replace entire water service. Customer opted to make repair only. Inform customer that there is no warranty on repair. Handdug and excavated dirt to expose three-quarter inch polybutylene piping. Turned off water at water meter and removed section of pipe and installed new three-quarter inch PEX piping using stainless steel couplings. No leaks at this time tested to insure proper function to plumbing system backfield dirt and applied pine straw for aesthetic purposes. Not responsible for landscaping.
