Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics on a 2004 comfortmaker hvac system that had a failed capacitor on the condenser. With the homeowner permission I replaced the failed capacitor. I ran the system in heat and cooling mode; tested the entire hvac system. The furnace is over 20 years old will what appears to be all original parts. The blower wheel and motor are in poor condition along with many other electrical parts in the furnace. The outdoor unit is running but at extremely high pressures due to its very old age and will burn itself out in the near future. The compressor. Condenser fan motor and contactor are in very poor condition. The AC system runs on obsolete r22 refrigerant which is no longer available.
