Today the customer requested to replace the existing washing machine box. I provided an estimate for the work during my evaluation, and the customer approved moving forward with the replacement. It’s to complete the installation, I cut out a section of sheet rock to properly expose the drain line and both the hot and cold water supply lines. I cut and re-pipe the PVC drain line as needed and also cut and reconnected the hot and cold water lines are properly tie into the new washing machine box. The new washing machine box has been fully installed, tested, and is functioning properly at this time. I informed Mrs. that the drywall opening will need to be repaired by others to restore the wall. All work was completed professionally and to code.
