Today I came out for 1 system inspection. The furnace is located in the attic and I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coils heat exchangers, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing. The blower wheel has dirt and debris built up on fan blades. The heat exchanger has several hotspots and a couple of eyelits starting to rust. The inducer motor is over amping as it’s rated for 1.2 FLA amps and is currently drawing 3.21 amps. The capacitor on the condenser is failing and contractor is heavily pitted. The condenser coils are heavily impacted with dirt and debris. After going over all my findings and options, Eric has agreed to move forward with a condenser coil cleaning and blower wheel cleaning. All work has been performed and system tested again ensuring proper operations at time of departure. It was a pleasure to meet you today and I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Haply New Year.
