Customer had issue with main level damper. No air to the main level of the house. Thermostat was calling for ac, but damper was stuck closed. I was able to unstuck and tested damper multiple times. It’s opening and closing now, but it can get stuck again. Also, signed up customer for home care inspection and inspected system. Single capacitor is weak (reading 6.17 on a 7.5 microfarad) and dual capacitor is weak, as well (reading 40 on a 45 microfarad). System has only one type of flood protection devices. Highly recommend to install an in line switch, in the drain line, to prevent water in the drain pan. Overall, system is working properly. Recommend to replace both capacitors, install an in line switch and a glute tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house, and to protect equipment. Main level damper will need to be replaced, if it get stuck again. Sent estimates for potential repairs. Customer will be out of town and will think about the repairs.
