Performed one system diagnostic for upstairs unit. Found unit to be 22 years old, R22 rusted coil, dirty blower, dirty filter, dirty evap coil, growth in supply plenum, failed run cap, failed dual cap, dirty condenser, pitted contactor, failing outdoor breaker. Due to age of unit and cost of repair would recommend replacement of system and joining homecare. Also recommended IAQ to improve air quality as well as an upgrade filter option. Unit is operational but not efficient. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
