Performed customer 1 system HVAC Inspection Gas furnace is 17 years old, ac and coil is. 7 years old. Did full evaluation of system, customer recently changed (20x25x5) media filter. Blower wheel is dirty, blower motor capacitor tested good. Unit does have a bad furnace control board, there are burn marks on control board where the high voltage terminal are. Tightened all low voltage connections for control board. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch tube port. Amos on inducer draft motor and blower motor tested ok at this time. Made sure condensation pump was working correctly and drain line was clear. Checked outdoor unit, system has a bad outdoor capacitor, contactor tested good, condenser coils are very dirty. When condenser fan motor starts up it’s very slow then ramps up advised customer that bad capacitor will cause these issue with the outdoor fan motor.
