Came out today to perform one system HVAC no heat service call. Upon arrival, customer stated he had a front system and a back system. The back system was a zone system that controls the upstairs and downstairs of the back of the house. Upon inspection of the system found that the outdoor system was originally on high-pressure lockout. Also, upon further inspection, customer stated that the inside system would never shut down. Upon inspection of the indoor system found lots of rust on the indoor coil, the blower wheel is dirty, there is biological growth along the sides of the air handler and on the blower and coil, the heat strips would not come on due to the air handler control board not sending power to turn on heat strips when being called for, there is currently voltage going into the board to turn on the heat strips, but no voltage is coming out to turn on the heat strips. At this time there is also no UV protection. There is no TE standard flood protection with a wet switch. Upo
