Homeowner had us out today because their system is not cooling. Upon arrival we noticed that it is currently 77° inside the home and the system is off. Homeowner informed us that even when they turn the system to cooling that nothing at all comes on. We noticed that the emergency drain pan for the unit was completely full of water and the float which was engaged, preventing the system from running. We explained to the homeowner that we had to clear all the water for the system to run and figure out where the water is coming from. The system is a 2019 Lennox heat pump. We found that the condensate drain was completely clogged having water back up into the system and into the emergency drain. We also noticed some biological growth on the inside of the unit. After getting the outdoor system to run, we checked refrigerant pressures and noticed that the system was low on refrigerant indicating a leak within the system. We found a leak at evaporator coil. The system still has a warranty unti
