Customer has 30 y/o Goodman system that operates for main level. System was not receiving power due to bad batteries for thermostat. Replaced batteries. Inspected system. Found no water protection. Bad run capacitor. Rusted evaporator coil. Failing condensate pump. Dirty blower wheel. Rusted burners. Incorrect flue venting. Bad heat exchanger. Poor gas line connection. Pressure levels were bad. Condenser electrical components are bad. R22 based. Informed customer of all findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
