Spa has a shower bowl with a leaking drain. Found crack in drain pipe. Found that the manufacturer does not produce parts for the unit any longer, and thus OEM parts are not available. Cut drain line past failed section, reattached onto basket strainer. Unsure of the age of the units. Unable to provide any warranty on work due to unavailability of OEM parts. Tested shower bowl after repair and found no more leaking. Informed spa that if the drain fails again, the drain will need to be replaced, but there will still not be a warranty as the new drain still would not be OEM.
