I was called out to Felix & Blanca‘s house for a heating issue. Upon my arrival Felix let me know that the thermostat was constantly heating the house well above what they wanted it. During the evaluation we discovered the thermostat was reading well below what the actual temperature was causing it to heat well above where it was actually set to. I adjusted the calibration it it didn’t get to the correct temperature so I contacted ecobee and they confirmed the thermostat was malfunctioning. We also saw that the flue pipe is outdated and installed incorrectly.
