Today we came out for main level not heating duel fuel trane 90+ 80k Lp furnace with matching 3 ton heat pump. Found furnace locked out on 9 flash fault inducer limit. Cycled power checked operations found 120 volts going to draft inducer motor but motor not energizing. Draft inducer motor has failed, inspected heat exchanger with digital camera due to age found crack @ 2 o clock showed client findings and took pictures will attach to invoice. Tagged furnace unsafe due to potential carbon monoxide fumes. Inspected heat pump found condenser fan motor running but compressor not energizing upon further evaluation of system found failed duel motor starter on compressor out of warranty. Due to condition of equipment and furnace being tagged unsafe scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating. Left repair options as well but repairs would be a band aid.
