Responded to a gas leak identified by Center Point Energy affecting the main pipe above water heater. Confirmed leakage at two fittings using soap bubble test, tightened cap on one leaking fitting with pipe dope application, and removed an unused gas line as requested by customer. Successfully tested repaired connections for leaks and restored water heater to service by relighting pilot.
