Diagnosed two 11-year-old high efficiency furnaces both experiencing intermittent heat issues due to high limit lockouts. Inspection revealed plugged secondary heat exchangers, evaporator coils, and blower wheels with significant dirt accumulation causing restricted airflow. Systems were attempting to compensate by operating in high fire mode to force air through restricted components. All other components and gas pressure tested within normal parameters.
