Replaced non-functional Honeywell V8043E1012 zone control valve on main level baseboard heating zone ("Center Valve") of 60+ year old boiler system. System had no heat to main zone prior to service. Observed that gate valves were seized shut, preventing proper purging of the system, and noted absence of boiler drain which would complicate future maintenance.
