Inspected outdoor spigot shut-off valve system in basement and determined the existing valve does not fully close, allowing water to continue flowing even when in "off" position. Identified significant corrosion and mineral deposits at copper pipe joints and connection points. Customer advised of options for replacing the aging KITZ 600-150S valves, but elected to consider replacement at a later date and will temporarily manage by shutting off the exterior spigot at the house.
