Inspected water softener system and found it non-operational. Diagnosed upstairs bathroom issues causing gurgling noises and gas odors, determining that siphoning of the tub P-trap was occurring. Provided customer with recommendations for softener replacement and verification of proper vent cap removal on roof to resolve the drainage and odor issues.
