Responded to customer report of slow furnace ignition and gas odor. Diagnosed issue with clogged air filter causing system to overheat and short cycle. Performed comprehensive inspection of flame sensor, ignitor, safety switches, pressure switch, inducer, burners, heat exchanger, gas valve and connections. Customer replaced filter during visit. System now operating within normal parameters with proper temperature split and gas pressure verified.
